Join us for a fundraising 5k supporting Black Mountain Primary and Elementary Schools Running Programs as well as other school communities impacted by weather related disasters. On October 25, 2024, our schools returned after Hurricane Helene. We were shown tremendous love and support from other communities. While our community is still healing one year later, we feel driven to give back to other communities healing from recent weather related events. Let’s lace up and run to show our resiliency. Proceeds from this race will both support our students, and be shared with other communities who are in their time of need.
Our event will start and end at Black Mountain Primary School’s Track. It is a scenic route encompassing sidewalks and the greenway in Black Mountain. It is mostly flat with some small hills.
