Property and Cancellation Policies
You may cancel free of charge until 3:00 pm 7 days before your arrival date. Any modifications, no-shows or cancellations within 7 days of arrival will result in a charge of the full reservation. We reserve the right to charge your credit card beginning 7 days prior to arrival for the total amount of your stay. We are not responsible for weather conditions, road conditions, personal emergencies, schedule changes, sickness or any other event or circumstance that may impact your plans. Please consider purchasing travel insurance.
Contactless Service:
We operate fully contactless and we’re here for you 24 hours a day via phone or text. Staff is on site part time & we incorporate 24 hour security monitoring for your safety and well being.
Digital Registration
:Before your reservation is confirmed, we require an uploaded valid government issued ID by the guest booking the room. You'll receive a link via email & text to upload your ID, which is simple and straight forward

Arrival Day:
Approximately 3 days before your stay, you'll receive your room number, door code, and pertinent Lodge & surrounding area details, as long as your registration is complete. The Lodge is accessible using smart lock door systems.
Last-Minute:
For last-minute reservations, the process is the same. Simply complete the registration online.
Pets:
We have a limited number of dog friendly rooms. Dogs must be disclosed at the time of reservation. A $59 pet fee per reservation applies, permitting up to 2 dogs. We do not accept any other type of animal. Unregistered pets will be subject to a $500 fee. Pets are not allowed on furniture, bedding or in the bathrooms.

Parking:
Parking is available on site. If you are traveling with a trailer or RV, contact us to make special arrangements. We will accommodate best we can.
Damage:
You are liable for any damage caused by you or any person in your party, whether or not staying at the Lodge during your stay. We reserve the right to retain your credit card and/or debit card details as presented at registration and charge your card in such amounts as we shall, in our sole discretion, deem necessary to make good the cost or expenses incurred or suffered by the Lodge as a result. If the damage comes to light after departure, you authorize us to charge your payment method for any damage incurred during your stay, including and without limitation for all property damage, missing or damaged items, smoking fee, cleaning fee, guest compensation, etc. We will make every effort to rectify damages as cost effectively as possible. Damage to room, fixtures, furnishings, and equipment, including the removal of equipment, towels, bedding, artwork, etc will be charged at 200% off full and new replacement value plus any shipping and handling fees.
Loss or Damage of Guest Belongings:
We assume no liability for lost, misplaced, stolen, or damaged belongings. If you have left something behind, please contact our team at support@lodgemtmitchell.com, call/text, so we can do our best to help you locate it.
Use of Personal Information:
We do not under any circumstance, share your information with anyone. We do send updates on the Lodge and area activities we feel you may be interested in via email and or text on occasion only.
Right to Refuse Service:
Lodge at Mount Mitchell is privately owned and operated. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason that does not violate Federal or State Laws. We have a zero tolerance policy in which we will refuse to admit or refuse service or accommodations in any of our units, or may remove a person, without refund, who refuses to abide by the reasonable standards and policies established by local, state, and federal law, or those of the owners for the operation, management and well being of the Lodge and its staff.
